Richard Gutierrez Admits He Almost Left His Showbiz Career

RICHARD GUTIERREZ – ABS-CBN actor Richard Gutierrez admitted that he almost quit his showbiz career.

Filipino actor and model Richard Gutierrez is the son of veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama. He has two sons named Zion and Kai with his model fiancé Sarah Lahbati.

The celebrity couple is planning to have their wedding in March 2020. In a previous article, Sarah spoke about her upcoming wedding.

Richard Gutierrez recently guested on Boy Abunda’s talk show Tonight With Boy Abunda.On the show, he admitted that he almost left his showbiz career in the Philippines to start a new life abroad. The 35-year-old celebrity said he previously wanted to live in a different country just like his father Eddie Gutierrez did before.

“I was about to live in a different country. Nagplano na ako to live in a different country, start a new life. You know, just like my dad. My dad did that. My dad walked away and started a different life…”

I asked myself, maybe I could do the same,” he added.

Richard Gutierrez then explained what stopped him from quitting showbiz. He said he realized that his destiny is here in the Philippines and his passion for acting won over him.

Yung destiny ko talaga is top be here right now… opportunities came, I grabbed it then sunod-sunod na,” he said.
