Calum Scott Shares Marlon Mortel’s ‘Dancing on My Own’ Cover On his IG Story
CALUM SCOTT – British Got Talent star Calum Scott noticed Marlon Mortel’s cover of “Dancing on My Own.”
Filipino actor and singer Marlo Mortel was best known for his role in the noontime tv drama ‘Be Careful with My Heart.’ He played the role of Nicolo Angelo Cortes, Luke’s (Jerome Ponce) best friend and Nikki’s (Janella Salvador) love interest.
Recently, the 26-year old celebrity joined It’s Showtime’s ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ Celebrity Champions. However, he got eliminated on the first day of the programs ‘TNT All-Star Grand Resbak.
In a previous article, Kapamilya singer Nyoy Volante gave his thoughts about Marlo Mortel’s elimination during his interview on ‘Tonight With Boy Abunda.’ He said the singer was not really eliminated on TNT. “Actually hindi naman talaga siya natanggal. Andun pa rin siya, teams kasi, e,” he said.
On the first day of ‘resbak,’ Marlo performed Calum Scott’s version of the hit song “Dancing On My Own.”
Marlo Mortel shared his cover of “Dancing on My Own” on his Youtube channel. It’s also his way of expressing his gratitude after reaching 100,000 subscribers.
The Kapamilya singer couldn’t hide his happiness after the English singer-songwriter Calum Scott noticed his cover and shared it on his Instagram Story. It came with a caption, “Calum Scott just noticed my cover of his song! [heart emoji]”
