Kathy Dupaya Denies Accusations of Ynez Veneracion
KATHY DUPAYA – Brunei-based businesswoman Kathelyn Dupaya broke her silence on her alleged “arrest” due to a case filed by Ynez Veneracion.
In 2018, several celebrities expressed their complaints against one businesswoman – Kathelyn Dupaya. The complaints of businessman Joel Cruz and actresses Sunshine Cruz and Ynez Veneracion all involved money.
Joel, Sunshine, and Ynez claimed that Kathy was not able to return their money to them. She had long exchanges with Sunshine. On her part, the actress stopped speaking about the issue and let her lawyer handle it.
Recently, it was reported by Pep that Kathy Dupaya was arrested due to the estafa case filed against her by Ynez Veneracion. A warrant of arrest was also released against the Brunei-based businesswoman.
Through her Facebook account, Kathy Dupaya broke her silence on her reported “arrest” over the estafa case filed by Ynez Veneracion. She denied it and stressed that there was no arresting as she voluntarily went to the authorities in Parañaque to verify it and post bail.
According to the businesswoman, she did not receive any order or subpoena that is why the case filed by Ynez continued the process. She claimed that she does not owe the actress even just one peso.
In her post, Kathy Dupaya even stressed that, allegedly, the money given by Ynez Veneracion to her also came from her. According to the businesswoman, she gives her money everytime she goes to Brunei.
Also, in her Facebook post, Kathy stated that Joel Cruz filed a Hold Departure Order against her but it gained a response from her camp that she has no plan to escape. She stressed that she did not take anyone’s life to escape.
According to Kathy, she was greatly humiliated by the accusations against her and 78 of her workers abroad lost their job as her businesses closed. She stressed that Ynez was the reason behind their every hunger and everytime they have their electricity cut now.
