With this, based on the article by Cristy Fermin in Bandera, a cameraman attested this attitude of the internationally-acclaimed theater actress. Lea Salonga sang the theme song of the SEA Games this year titled We Win As One.
“Napaka-smooth po ng trabaho namin. Wala kasing kaarte-arte si Ms. Lea. Siya mismo ang nagre-request kay Maestro Ryan Cayabyab na ulitin ang part na hindi siya masyadong sure kung nakuha niya talaga ang tono,” a cameraman close to Fermin shared.
According to the cameraman, what Lea did was “perfect” but she was still open for the possibility that she can do better. In addition, her glam team has no ill comment on her attitude on the set. She has not “kayabangan” and “kaangasan” while working on the said project, according to Fermin.
In line with this, the entertainment columnist suggested that other singers should have a seminar with the Broadway star to learn her attitude in her job. “Saka mapagpahalaga po siya sa mga katrabaho niya. Nu’ng matapos na po ang trabaho namin, e, isa-isa niya kaming nilapitan at pinasalamatan,” the cameraman added. He also said, based on the article, that it was even Lea Salonga who approached them first to have a selfie with them.
