Lea is known as one of the most popular Filipinos in the international entertainment scene. Aside from singing, she has been recognized for her various roles in theater. This is aside from the fact that she is the only Filipina who became the singing voices of two Disney princesses, Jasmine and Mulan.

Now, one of her recent stints in the country is as a coach in The Voice Kids PH. It can be recalled that many avid viewers wondered why Sharon Cuneta was no longer part of the show. The Megastar explained that she is getting too emotional when it comes to choosing who must stay and who must go. That is why she decided not to be a part of the current season.

It is part of the coaches’ job to eliminate the kids under their team when it comes to the battle round. In line with the absence of Sharon in the current season of the show, Lea Salonga was asked to react.

Based on a recent interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal, the Broadway star said what she thinks of herself as a coach compared to Sharon. Lea said that she is “more mean”. “I’m a little more mean… I guess…” she said.
