Here’s Reaction of Isko Moreno To Activist Who Vandalize Newly-Painted Manila Underpass
ISKO MORENO – Here is the reaction of Mayor Isko Moreno to the activist who vandalized Lagusnilad underpass.
Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso” is more than just a crowd favorite. He is also a dedicated leader who aims to bring back the glory of the city of Manila.
The 45-year-old politician has revived the beauty of Binondo’s historic Jones Bridge. He ordered to place new lampposts.
Isko Moreno also ordered to clean the Lagusnilad underpass. In a previous article, activists Panday Sining vandalized on that said underpass. They pained protest slogans such as “Presyo, ibaba! Sahod, Itaas!” and “US-China Layas!”
The vandalism of the youth activists irks the Manila mayor. He said those who will be caught vandalizing the newly-painted walls will be made to lick their writings.
Panday Sining apologizes for the graffiti while at the same time justifying that they did it to tell people about the pressing issues in the Philippines. Recently, Mayor Isko Moreno released a video expressing his dismay about the vandalism at Lagusnilad underpass.
“Pasensyahan po tayo ha. Ako po’y taong pamahalaan. May responsibilidad na inatang sa akin ang mamamayan, tutupdin ko yung mga obligasyon na yun. Papapanagutin ko kayo sa mata ng batas na may pag galang sa inyong karapatang pantao…”
“Akala ko ba yung ang ipinaglalabanan ninyo. Ang pangangalagaan ang na-aapi, proteksyonan ang mahihirap, lingunin ng gobyerno ang mga nangangailangan. Akala ko ba yan ang pinag lalaban ninyo? E-dinumihan ninyo. Then you call yourself artist? Yan oh! Art bay an?” he added.
