Gretchen Barretto supposed to be in a series with Angelica, KC, Diether, Luis, and Zanjoe
The canceled TV series of Gretchen Barretto with Luis Manzano, Diether Ocampo, Zanjoe Marudo, Angelica Panganiban, and KC Concepcion resurfaced and netizens reacted to this.
Luis shared on her Instagram TV the teaser of their teleserye ‘Alta’ which did not push through. That was back in 2012 when Diether was still active in show business. The I Can See Your Voice host wrote this in the caption: “ALTA! (2012) Ang di natuloy! Hahaha.”
Based on the teaser, the story is about the drama in the lives of people who clings to their wealth and those who just wanted to have love. The video looks promising, as netizens asked why it was canceled. However, no one from the supposed to be cast members of the canceled series answered the inquiry from netizens.
This received also a reaction from Angelica. She said, “Hahhahaha!!! Napuyat pa naman tayo dyan.” This received a reply from Luis as he said, “binigay na natin lahat dyan!”
Magandang Buhay host Karla Estrada also commented with laugh emojis while Dominique Cojuangco, the daughter of Gretchen with Tonyboy Cojuangco, said, “Bring thisssss (fire emoji).” Greta also shared the post of Luis on her Instagram story and she posted the same video on her feed.
With this, netizens expressed various reactions. Some hoped that the series will push through next year while some said that it was “sayang” since it was canceled. Several netizens also expressed that they looked forward to watching the series but it did not happen.
