PAGASA – Low Pressure Area Intensified Into Tropical Depression Ramon

PAGASA – The low-pressure that is east of the town of Virac, Catanduanes has intensified into a tropical depression “Ramon”.

The bureau further added that Ramon intensified at 8AM. it also added that it will possibly intensify into a tropical storm within the next 48 hours.

According to Inquirer, the bureau’s 11 AM, Ramon was last seen at about 835 kilometers eat southeast of the town of Virac, Catanduanes or 685 kilometers east of the city of Borongan, Eastern Samar.

It is currently packed with maximum sustained winds of about 55 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour. It is currently moving west at 10 kilometers per hour.

Light to moderate with chances of heavy rains will be faced by the following areas:

  • Bicol region
  • Samar provinces
  • Romblon
  • Marinduque
  • South Quezon

Light to moderate with occsaional heavy rains will affect the following areas:

  • Isabela
  • Quirino
  • Northern Aurora
  • Polilio Island
  • Camarines Norte

As per the report, light to moderate with intermittent heavy rains will affect the following areas:

  • Aklan
  • Capiz
  • Romblon
  • Marinduque
  • Southern Quezon

As per the temperature, Metro Manila will face a maximum 30 degree Celsius, 20 degree Celsius in Baguio, 31 degree Celsius in Cebu, 26 degree Celsius in Tagaytay, and 32 degree Celsius in Davao.
