Who is the leading man of Jane de Leon in the upcoming Darna movie?
The leading man of Kapamilya actress Jane de Leon for the much-awaited Darna movie of Star Cinema is finally chosen.
Before the iconic Pinay superhero role was given to Jane, it was first offered to Angel Locsin who already played Darna in a TV series. However, she gave up the role due to her back injury. Then, Liza Soberano entered the scene which gave much excitement to fans but another problem came when an accident happened while she was taping for the defunct TV series Bagani. Her finger injury hindered her in doing fight scenes for Darna.
After this, the role landed on Jane’s hand. Her popularity skyrocketed when she was named as the new Darna. Although her old photos showing different facial features than what she has now surfaced on social media, that did not hinder the fans’ excitement to see her in the iconic red costume.
Several celebrities also expressed excitement and support to Jane, including Liza and Angel. Now that the new Darna is named, who will be her leading man?
