Liza Soberano Reacts On Jane De Leon Being The New Darna

LIZA SOBERANO – Upon knowing that Jane de Leon will become the new Darna, Liza Soberano gave her reaction, further giving a message to the actress.

Jane de Leon was chosen to take over Liza to become the new Darna out of the 300 women who auditioned for the role. Everyone was shocked to hear the news, especially when they expect that Nadine Lustre was the highest possible candidate for the role. Even director Erik Matti believed that Lustre is fitting fot the role, saying that a “model cannot fit to become Darna”.

Liza, on the other hand, upon knowing the new Darna, said that she messaged de Leon as soon as she can, as per the report on ABS-CBN.

In her message, she told Jane that she can be approachable to talk to should Jane feels the weight of responsibility bestowed upon her.

De Leon will replace Soberano who backed out due to the injury on her finger she received in Bagani.

Liza said she is happy for Jane de Leon and Star Cinema, further saying that Jane embodies everything Darna possesses: beauty, strength, empathy, and kindness, which is something ABS-CBN consultant Malou Santos said a few days ago.

As per the report, Soberano is looking forward to the success of the film, further saying that she is excited for de Leon’s career and to watch the film.

Liza lastly said that she can feel the success of Darna.
