The Pinoy gamer CHoOx TV launched a fundraising program called “Stars for a Cause” to help the quake victims in Mindanao.
The residents of North Cotabato and several parts of Mindanao are now seeking help from the Philippine government and kind-hearted people after experiencing a series of powerful temblors last week.
The disastrous earthquakes cause damage to numerous buildings, houses, and business establishments. The disaster displaced thousands of people in the area and even killed several residents.
Several government agencies and private sectors are already exerting efforts to help quake victims. However, the victims still need more help such as food, medicines, tents, and safe drinking water.
Recently, the Filipino gamer CHoOx TV launched the “Stars for a Cause” to help the quake victims in parts of Mindanao. The vlogger is asking stars from fans, which he will use to buy relief goods and other items for the quake victims.
The Pinoy gamer immediately received a massive amount of support from the fans a few hours after announcing the program. In the first few days, he already received tens of thousands of pesos.
CHoOx TV who has over 1.8 million followers immediately spends the money he earned from the stars to buy relief goods, which will be distributed to the victims. He is planning to conduct the fundraising project for one week.
