6.4 Magnitude Earthquake Leaves Female Netizen Trapped in School w/ Kids

NETIZEN – Following a 6.4 magnitude earthquake, a female netizen took to the social media a call for help as she is trapped with some kids in a school.

Recently, several parts of Mindanao were rocked by a 6.4 magnitude earthquake that alarmed a lot of people. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the quake’s epicenter was in Tulunan, Cotabato.

The earthquake had a depth of 008 kilometers and damages were expected from it. Also, the government agency warned that aftershocks are expected from the 6.4 magnitude quake that hit Cotabato.

Currently, rescue operations are taking place in the different areas affected by the quake. There are still people affected by the quake who are seeking for help.

On social media, a female netizen posted photos at their school as she was calling for help following the 6.4 magnitude earthquake. She was with some kids who are gathered at the school ground.

According to Facebook user “Tsai Via”, they cannot make a call or send a message so she just posted their request for help on social media. Their buildings were greatly affected and they have yet to double check if there are kids left inside the buildings.

Also, the netizen stated that the ground is cracking. She stressed that they need to be rescued as soon as possible. Here is the Facebook post:
