Jennifer Aniston joined Instagram on Tuesday, October 15. Her first IG post on went viral. She posted a selfie with her ‘Friends’ co-stars. Her viral post garnered 11.5 million hearts and 446K comments as of this writing.

On Wednesday, the Guinness World Records announced that the 50-year-old celebrity had broken the record for the fastest time to obtain 1 million followers. Jennifer reached 1 million followers in just 5 hours and 16 minutes.
Her first photo on Instagram went live on Tuesday, October 15 at 6:03 am. The Facebook-owned service had technical problems and some of her fans had a hard time following her on the said social media platform.
According to the report, Jennifer Aniston is no stranger to record-breaking achievements. In 2016, she shares the record title of highest paid tv actress with her co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Courtney Cox Arquette. In 2008, she shares the record title of most powerful actress with ‘Maleficent’ star Angelina Jolie.
Based on the report, the fastest to reach one million IG followers were previously held by Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and Kang Daniel. This is the 3rd time the world record has been broken in 2019.
