The 53-year-old celebrity showcased some of his paintings at ManilaArt 2019. It was held at the SMX Convention Center in Taguig. The art fair has ended on Sunday, October 13.

Richard Gomez finally explained the meaning behind his controversial yellow painting at ManilaArt 2019. He responded to the inquiry through a text message. Based on a report from GMA News, the politician said his creation was “self-explanatory. Given a deeper thought, it shows lust, self-pleasure and power.”
According to the report, the politician also shared that he has been doing some art works since the ‘90s, however, he does not keep all of them. He said the art works that he bought from painters in the ‘80s were still with him until now. He is obviously among the celebrities who loves to collect paintings.
“I’ve been collecting works from painters since the ’80s when I started working and earning money. Most of what I’ve bought are still with me up to now,” Richard shared.
