Last weekend, Typhoon Hagibis hits Japan causing rivers to overflow, shuts down the electricity leaving thousands of houses without power, floods, and destroyed numerous establishments in the affected areas.

Hagibis is the strongest typhoon to hit Japan in decades that brings heavy rains and violent winds over the towns and cities of Nagano, Niigata, Miyagi, Fukushima, Ibaraki, Kanagawa and Saitama prefectures.

The powerful storm has maximum sustained wind gusts of up to 216 kilometers per hour that killed up around 35 people. Over 100,000 rescuers including 31,000 troops braved the storm to rescue the residents trapped after torrential rains causing floods and landslides.

The effects of the typhoon even uprooted trees and destroyed the vehicles. The strong typhoon leaves thousands of residents with nothing or very little to start with.
