RICHARD GOMEZ – The controversial painting of the actor-politician Richard Gomez valued at Php 196,000.00 received various reactions.

An art is an expression of the deep feelings of an artists. There are more other ways of expression and one of it is painting. And one actors everyone probably knew who loves painting is artist turned politician Richard Gomez.

And just recently, a very controversial painting of him valued in an exhibit was put under all because of his chosen subject and the price. It a yellow part of a man’s private member on a selling price of Php 196,000.00 and there’s also something coming out of it just by looking at the surface.

It was during the ManilArt exhibition, which runs until October 13 in SMX Convention Center, SM Aura Premier, Taguig City. The same painting was also a part of last year’s Art Fair Philippines, under the booth of contemporary art gallery Secret Fresh.

The controversial painting is called “OOOOHH,” a 48″x 48″ painting rendered using black and yellow acrylic paint on wood. And this caught the attention of many internet users that the veteran actor became a trending topic on Twitter.
