The Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao is set to play the role of General Miguel Malvar on his upcoming historical film.
Indeed, Manny Pacquiao is one of the most popular people not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. He rose to fame after winning several boxing championship titles.
Pacman became more popular after he was featured in several movies, TV shows, and commercials aside from his boxing career. The boxer turned politician is still accepting acting jobs.
Recently, Manny Pacquiao has been featured at a posted of his upcoming movie as General Miguel Malvar. In the photo, it can be seen that the boxer has full beard and a rayadillo-style uniform.
The historical movie will be directed by Jose “Kaka” Balagtas with a screenplay by Ed Samson. The story plot tells the story of the last Filipino general to surrender to the Americans.
However, the film producers decided to invite Manny Paksiw, the stunt double or look-alike of the people’s champ because he had a prior commitment in Dubai.
