Video of Pinoy Boxer Manny Pacquiao Gives ‘Balato’ Goes Viral Online

The video footage of the Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao giving money ‘Balato’ to the residents of Sarangani goes viral online.

The Pinoy boxer Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao showed that he is not just an ordinary boxing champion but a People’s champ after sharing his blessing to his fellow Filipinos.  Pacman decided to give some ‘Balato’ to the residents of Barangay Spring, Alabel, in the Province of Sarangani.

Pacquiao visited the village and started to give P1,000 for the adults and P500 for the children a few weeks after his latest victory against the undefeated boxing champion Keith Thurman via split decision.

The boxer turned Senator did not inform the media regarding his surprise visit and distribution of ‘Balato’, according to one of Pacquiao’s staff identified as David Sisson. He explained that the lawmaker did not want any media to know his kind gesture towards the people.

“He just thought of going there. He did not inform the media. He just wanted to visit the Pacman village and gave out P1,000 for the adults and P500 for the kids,” Sisson said.

According to Pacman’s staff, more than 600 people received money from the Pinoy boxing superstar, which is a very big help for the Pacman villagers. Senator Pacquiao made the handing out of ‘Balato’ to his countrymen a tradition whenever he wins a fight.
