Gucci Makes Unique Salonga Their First Brand Ambassador From PH
UNIQUE SALONGA – The former IV of Spades frontman turned solo artist became Gucci’s first brand ambassador from the Philippines.
The partnership between the OPM sensation and one of the biggest brands in fashion, Gucci, was announced on a Facebook post by Telay Robles.
“They say you have to be ODD to be number ONE. What are the odds that this highly reputable global brand Gucci has agreed to support Unique Salonga as the first-ever musician from the Philippines to wear them?“, the post read.
Robles then gave praise to Gucci for recognizing local talents and Unique individuals (pun intended). “Glad and proud to be sharing outtakes from a recent project that we did and risks we took.”, she added.
She then stated that it was a high honor for their team to take part in such a project. Afterward, Robles said they are looking forward to more shoots with the fashion brand.

According to an article from We The Pvblic, the artist has been known to flaunt his love for the brand. Unique even made an appearance in the MYX Music Awards in a full Gucci outfit.
After going solo, Unique released his debut album “Grandma” back in August of 2018. With hits like “Sino”, “Midnight Sky”, and “Paalala”, Unique seemed to be doing great in his solo career.
The artist also held a concert tour to promote his album. He was accompanied by opening acts “Rice Lucido”, “Earl Genarao”, and “Bita and the Botflies”.
