Here’s the story about the Urban Legend of Bongbong Marcos’ Alleged Clone.
Bongbong Marcos – The second child of former President of the Philippines Ferdinand Marcos who served as a senator of the 16th congress and was rumored to be a clone of the real Bongbong.
According to rumors, the senator is already dead. The person we can see sitting in the senate is allegedly only a clone of him.
Based on an article on Carelink, the urban legend spread in late 1970’s and in early 80’s and no one knows who spread the legend or where this story came from. But the fact that the dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos is powerful and eminent, and the declaration of martial law added much supremacy to his rule, people will eventually be scared, thus possibly the urban legends is the political nature.
Of course, if the rumor is true and Bongbong is really dead, then the dynasty and power of the Marcos family will be cut short and be broken. Except if another Bongbong will replace, thus, the family empire will still continue.
Rumor has it that the real Bongbong died after one of his Indian classmates put him to death. Based on the article, other versions of the story suggest that Bongbong was probably killed either by rebels of Mindanao or by a road accident somewhere in Manila.
To protect the Marcos political dynasty, it was said that Imelda convinced one of her nephews to undergo plastic surgery and pretend to be senator all his life. He is allegedly the one we see on TV now.
