Derek Ramsay Reveals Reason Behind Backing Out From Movie w/ Kris Aquino
DEREK RAMSAY – Kapuso actor Derek Ramsay revealed the reason why he backed out from a movie with actress-television host Kris Aquino.
Currently, several stars from the different television networks are now preparing for the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival 2019. Films would be screened for the said film festival which will be a treat to the crowd for the Christmas season.
While some are currently working on it, there are movies that did not make it to MMFF 2019. One of the film will supposedly be top-billed by actress-TV host Kris Aquino.
Initially, Kris Aquino will be working with actor Derek Ramsay in an MMFF 2019 movie. However, the Kapuso actor backed out from the said project.
Based on a report on Pep, at the press conference for The Better Woman, Derek Ramsay’s TV series with actress Andrea Torres, the actor spoke regarding his supposed MMFF 2019 with Kris Aquino. He revealed the reason why he backed out.
“Yung pagbalik ko sa teleserye, medyo na-shock ako. Ang daming ginagawa. That’s why I had to back off sa movie with Kris,” he said.
The Kapuso actor added that his and the supposed MMFF 2019 movie’s taping schedules do not really match. He chose to back out even if the production is open to adjusting to taping locations for him.
“They were kind enough na nga na doon na daw sa Batangas kami mag-shoot… Pero hindi talaga kaya,” the actor expressed based on the report.
On September 25, Derek had the last taping day for The Better Woman. It is undeniably a memorable project for the actor as it is not only his TV comeback but as well as where he met the love of his life now.
Derek and Andrea recently confirmed that they are now officially a couple. But the actor stressed that when they are at work, they are very professional and they don’t share the same tent.
