Here’s the reaction of Maricel Soriano to rumors saying that Angel Locsin has “topak”
Rumors saying that The General’s Daughter lead actress Angel Locsin has “topak” reached to the knowledge of Diamond Star Maricel Soriano and here’s the latter’s reaction to this.
Angel had the chance to work with Maricel in the said Kapamilya primetime action-drama series. Before she commenced the shooting, the veteran actress shared that she already heard rumors about the younger actress.
“Si Angel, may nagsabi sa akin, ‘Ay, si Angel, ganito, ganyan… May topak iyan!’ E, sino bang tao ang walang topak?!” Maricel said during the a recent interview. She dismissed the allegations against the TGD lead actress. “Dito sa set, si Angel wala kang makikitang bahid na ‘nyora-‘nyora na gumaganun. Wala, hindi ganun si Angel. Nakatapak sa lupa si Angel,” she said.
Maricel added that no one on the set acts like he or she is a star. On the other hand, the Diamond Star also saw the potential of Angel to be a director. “Itong babaeng ‘to, good na sa director. Mas marunong pa sa director, gusto pa niya magdirek. Gusto mo ba magdirek, ‘Ne? Nagdidirek na rin. Meron siyang mga inputs, marami siyang questions. She collaborates with them,” Maricel elaborated.
She added that their other co-stars also did this when it comes to sharing inputs for the scenes. For the veteran actress, the younger actress is “mabait at malambing” because she personally saw these traits of Angel Locsin. Maricel Soriano stressed out that she does not easily believe what other people are saying about a person, based on the report from PEP. She herself finds out the personality of her co-stars in a project.
