Concerned Netizen Warns Public Against Using This Brand of Mosquito Repellent Lotion
A concerned netizen warned the public against using a certain brand of a mosquito repellent lotion that can allegedly cause skin damage.
Over the past few weeks, dengue has been one of the most common diseases across the Philippines, which is very common during the rainy season. The dengue fever affects thousands of Filipino children and even adults.
Aedes Aegypti or known as Dengue mosquitoes carries the virus and transmit it to humans through bites. Dengue is totally preventable through maintaining the cleanliness in the surrounding and using mosquito repellent to prevent insect bites.
Recently, a Facebook user named Magnolia Abastillas shared the photos of a mosquito repellent lotion, which causes burn and damage to their remote control. She said that the lotion could cause first degree burn to users.
Abastillas said that her child usually complains of burning sensation after applying the “Off lotion” on its skin. She saw a Facebook post that the “Off Lotion” causes first degree burn on the face.
The concerned netizen tried to apply the mosquito-repellent to their remote control but the lotion damaged it.
