Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray’s Voice Is On Waze App
CATRIONA GRAY – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is the ‘first Filipino celebrity voice’ on the traffic navigation app Waze.
Filipina-Australian model, recording artist, and beauty queen, Catriona Gray was crowned as Miss Universe 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand last December. Her victory in the prestigious pageant brought pride to all the Filipinos.
Catriona was recently seen dining with her fellow beauty queens Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and Pia Wurtzbach in New York. Miss Universe 2015 shared their lovely photo on her Instagram account.
In a previous article, Catriona Gray shared a sneak peek of her upcoming project on her Instagram account. The teaser set her fans and supporters abuzz. She was seen on a video walking down the street surrounded by bashers.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN News, the traffic navigation app Waze include Miss Universe 2018 as one of the voice options. Catriona is the first Filipino celebrity on the said app.
Catriona Gray can be now heard on our mobile phones helping us navigate the roads and offers safety tips. “Time to park the car and do the lava walk,” said Waze.
According to the report, the 25-year-old beauty queen said she’s glad that she’s able to share positivity to his fellowmen through this app. She also said she wanted to inspire them despite the challenges in life such as the stressful traffic in the city.
“Being the newest voice on Waze enables me to share positivity to Filipinos who are on the road—going to school, work or wherever they need to be. I want to keep them inspired and help them find their way so that we can all be happy and remain optimistic, despite many challenges such as the traffic,” said Cat.
Based on the report, the manager of Waze Philippines, Sarah Rodriguez, believed that having Catriona in their vehicles would improve their driving experience and “more enjoyable.”
