MISS UNIVERSE 2018 – Newly crowned Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray showed all the beauty of Dumaguete City in her vlog.
Half-Aussie Catriona Gray was recently crowned as the Miss Universe 2018. She made every Filipino proud of her triumph on the prestigious pageant.
The beauty queen from Albay proudly represents the Philippines by wearing the Pinoy-inspired outfits on the competition.
Since the day Catriona Gray was hailed as the new Miss Universe, her artworks and throwback photos surfaced
Along with Catriona’s lifestyle before setting foot on the Miss Universe stage, her blog from Dumaguete also recently went viral.
On Catriona Gray’s video vlog in the beautiful city of Dumaguete, she expose several tourist spots and famous food of the island.
Her first day in Dumaguete, she first had breakfast at the “Painitan Market”. The beauty queen ate sweet mangoes, “bud-bud” and hot chocolate for her breakfast.
“It was ultimate comfort food for breakfast…it was a perfect way to start my day in Dumaguete,” she said.
After having her breakfast at the “Painitan Markets”, Catriona Gray went to the “Seaside Weekly Farmers Market”. She featured the handbags, dried fish, and “lechon” that was sold on the market on her video.
She discussed how “lechon” was cooked and complimented it’s taste after being roasted.
Catriona Gray also went for a stop at the famous cakes and pastries restaurant in Dumaguete, Sans Rival. She expressed how delicious their sweet desserts.
“You cannot pass the city without trying the hugely popular sweets from Sans Rival…everything tastes really good,” she said.
Catriona Gray stayed at the Santa Monica Resort and expressed her admiration to the beachside. “The vibe is so laid back and chill that you’ll completely be happy just to unwind and relax at the resort,” she said.
Late on the video, she traveled 14 kilometers from the Santa Monica Resort to explore the Twin Lakes in Dumaguete.
“Here at the second lake of the twin lakes, it is so peaceful here…I don’t want to speak to interrupt the silence,” Catriona said.
On the latter part of Catriona Gray’s vlog, she woke up early to witness the beautiful sunrise from the open ocean.
“It’s a beautiful way to set the tone for my day and to bid farewell to this beautiful place,” she said.
