Filipina-German actress and model Pia Wurtzbach is considered one of the famous celebrities in the Philippines. She is currently one of the talents of ABS-CBN network.
In December 2015, the 29-year-old star was hailed as Miss Universe 2015. She won the prestigious title following Gloria Diaz’ win in 1969. She is the 3rd Pinay to win the title.
In December 2018, Miss Universe title was bagged by a Filipina-Australian, Catriona Gray. Her performance during the pageant was praised by lots of people especially the Filipinos for showcasing the beauty of the Philippines on the competition.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is close to the reigning Miss Universe. In fact, the two Filipina beauty queens met in New York last May.
