Senior Citizen Who Sells Street Foods at Past Midnight Breaks Netizens’ Hearts
The heartbreaking photos of a senior citizen selling at his stall around past midnight goes viral after it was posted on social media.
Nowadays, having your own business has more advantage because you have your own time and could earn more cash rather than having a regular job. Job employees usually have a fix rate and need to report to work for five (5) to six (6) days per week.
However, not all businesses are successful because some entrepreneurs failed a few months or years after starting their own. Lack of customers is one of the major factor why businesses failed.
Recently, a Facebook user named Saharat Yean has shared the heartbreaking photos of a male senior citizen selling his goods although it was past midnight. It was already late and very few people are left across the street to possibly buy from the old man.
Yean said that the senior citizen is selling street foods near the Wat Bua Temple in Ubon Ratchathan, Thailand. The old man admitted that his items were not sitting well and he was still waiting for customers because he had some food left.
Unfortunately, the old street vendor’s container was still nearly full since no one bought from him that day prompting him to sell until past midnight. The vendor sells a serving for 20 baht ($0.66).
Saharat decided to buy worth 200 baht ($6.60) worth of meatballs to help the old man. The concerned netizen also shared the photos online and urged the social media users to help the old man.
