Official Statement About the Condition of Aiko Melendez After She’s Rushed to the Hospital
Aiko Melendez was rushed to the hospital and here is the official statement regarding the health condition of the actress.
One of the most prestigious nationwide pageants is the Miss World Philippines 2019. For this year, one of the judges is actress Aiko Melendez. However, she was not able to come to the competition.
Aiko Melendez rushed herself to the hospital. On her Instagram account, the actress posted an official statement regarding what happened to her which is why she was not able to grace the event with her presence as judge.
Based on the Instagram post of Aiko, the actress rushed herself to the hospital after feeling numbness on the left part of her body. Tests were done to make sure it was not a mild stroke that the actress was experiencing.
According to her, she underwent CT scan and as well as ECG. The diagnosis of the doctor is “complicated migraine”. She revealed that she’s suffering from migraine for years now.
The doctor of Aiko advised to put the actress on a maintenance medicine since she is having a complicated type of migraine already. She assured that she is feeling better now and she expressed her gratitude to everyone who was there for her.
In her official statement, Aiko Melendez expressed her thanks to her daughter, Marthena Jickain, to her bestfriend, and to her partner Vice Governor Jay Khonghun. She also expressed her gratitude over the concern of the family of her boyfriend.
Aiko stated in her Instagram post that they did not tell Andre Yllana, her eldest son, right away as they do not want him to worry. Andre is her son with her ex-husband, Jomari Yllana.
