LIST: Areas Where Classes Are Suspended Today (September 12)
CLASSES SUSPENDED – Several local government units declared a class suspension in the schools in their areas today, September 12.
In schools, a class suspension is usually implemented when there are national celebrations. Students and teachers are given the chance to participate in the events in line with the occasion.
Another usual reason for a class suspension is the bad weather. It is usually based on the weather updates released by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geological and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Recently, PAGASA announced that some parts of the country will experience a rainy weather. It is because of the tropical depression that is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) today.
In line with the weather updates from PAGASA and the pursuit to put the safety of the students on top, several local government units suspended the classes in the schools within their areas today, September 12. Based on ABS-CBN News report, here is a list of the areas where a class suspension was declared:
