Anita Linda’s Ad-lib Statement Seems To Be A Premonition On Eddie Garcia Death

EDDIE GARCIA DEATH – The ad-lib statement of veteran actress Anita Linda seemed to be a premonition of the passing of the late actor Eddie “Manoy” Garcia.

One of the incidents that left countless hearts broken this 2019 was the passing of veteran actor Eddie Garcia in June. Undeniably, the marks he left in the Philippine entertainment industry is very hard to surpass.

Tito Eddie has shared most of the years of his life to the industry and the Filipino people. Many are looking up to the brilliance, the professionalism, the humility, and the talent of the late actor.

Eddie Garcia was survived by his partner, Lilibeth Romero, and son Erwin Garcia. The veteran actor is now reunited with his two(2) children who died due to a motorcycle accident and a health condition.

The death of Eddie Garcia came as he was taping for Rosang Agimat in Tondo. He tripped on a cable wire, fell into the ground, and obtains severe cervical fracture.

Tito Eddie was rushed to the hospital and was in a comatose state for more than a week. Prayers and messages of love and support overflowed for the veteran actor and his family.

Before his unexpected passing came, Eddie Garcia had a participating in the film Circa which is one of the 10 entries for Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) 2019. He worked together with veteran actress Anita Linda among others. In one of their scenes, her statement seemed to be a premonition.

According to Circa director Adolf Alix Jr., the seemingly premonition in the form of an adlib statement of Anita Linda crossed during a birthday scene. Eddie Garcia came to her, they exchanged statements, and she made an adlib saying:

“Ingat ka, baka ka madapa,” Alix said referring to the veteran actress’ ad-lib statement.

Based on the report, the Circa director said that the ad-lib statement did not catch his attention when he was still editing the scene. According to him, it was during the post-production when he noticed it.

“Tapos, sabi ko kay Tita Alice [Anita], ‘Tita, bakit mo po nasabi noong time na yun?’ Sabi niya, ‘Wala, ano ko lang.’ Basta, iyon daw ang naramdaman niya,” Alix expressed.

Circa is dedicated to Eddie Garcia. Reportedly, the veteran actor just came from a taping when he did a scene for Circa after knowing that his presence is really needed.
