Man Puts Cellphone Into Cash Box To Pay Bus Fare

MAN – A Chinese man failed to pay via e-payment so he inserted his mobile phone into the cash box to pay his bus fare.

Among the main source of public transports include trains, buses, and taxis. There are still lots of people who don’t own their own cars and students.

Aside from spending less amount of money on public transport, commuters can get to see lots of people and meet some new friends. Meanwhile, a Chinese commuter went viral for attempting to pay his fare using his mobile phone. The viral video was shared on the Facebook page of South China Morning Post.

It can be seen on the video that the driver was instructing the man to use his mobile phone to pay his fare since they are now accepting payment via mobile app. However, the man obviously doesn’t know what the driver meant so he took his instructions literally. He inserted his cellphone into the cash box.

Based on the caption, it was the man’s first time to use an e-payment on a bus. He was wearing earphones while figuring what to do and could not hear the driver’s instructions.

The cellphone was returned to the commuter the next day. The video has generated 1 thousand reactions, 330 shares and 199 comments as of this writing.
