Till now, it is currently bringing scattered rains over Bicol, East Visayas, Islands of Dinagat, and Surigao, both del Norte and del Sur.

The bureau further added the LPA will be called Tropical Depression “Ineng” if it will eventually become a cyclone.

As per the report, Aldczar Aurelio, the agency’s senior weather forecaster said that the LPA is not predicted to affect the capital until August 23 (Friday).

Aurelio further said that most parts of the Philippines will experience fair weather aside from isolated thunderstorms.

On the other hand, the bureau revealed that the country will expect up to four tropical depressions entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility this month.

The first typhoon which entered the PAR this month was Hanna, who did not make landfall but brought several monsoon rains that affected many parts of Luzon and West Visayas
