Tribute of Kris Aquino for Late Dad Ninoy Aquino
KRIS AQUINO – Actress and television host Kris Aquino made a series of tribute for her late father, Senator Ninoy Aquino Jr.
Today, August 21, the Philippines celebrates the Ninoy Aquino Day. It is a special non-working day in the country and the Pinoys, most especially the Aquino supporters, commemorates the death of the late Senator.
Ninoy died because of an unfortunate incident that took place after the plane he boarded landed in the country. The airport is now known as Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
The late Senator left behind his wife, the late former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino“, and their five(5) children. Among their children are actress Kris Aquino and former Pres. Noynoy Aquino Jr.
As the Philippines celebrate the Ninoy Aquino Day, Kris Aquino took to the social media a series of tribute for her late father. In one of her posts, she stated that her dad is the “1st man” who gave her the courage to believe in in her dreams.
According to the actress, the late Senator “knew how to make people feel special and important”. She also stated that her mom knew how to make them feel protected. She is extremely grateful for her parents.
In another post, Kris revealed that when she was small, her father would tell her that she will star in movies and be on TV. According to her, although former Pres. Cory would stop her husband, the late Senator would still insist those in whispers to her.
