Here’s the statement of Ion Perez regarding his rumored relationship with Vice Ganda

Speculations about the real score between Vice and Ion started to circulate early this year. They have been spotted together in various places here in the Philippines and abroad, especially when Vice had out-of-the-country shows. Aside from this, there were also several times that their sweet photos surfaced on social media.
Amid the speculations, their alleged relationship already produced a stardom the “Viceion”. Their fans are hoping that they are more than just friends. However, neither of them directly admitted or denied their rumored affair.
On the other hand, during the story conference for the movie Mang Kepweng, Ion Perez finally broke his silence about this matter. When asked if he and Vice are together as a couple, he denied and said that they are really close.
“Ano lang kami, sobrang malapit lang kami sa isa’t-isa, kaya siguro yung mga tao sobrang nag-iisip sila…ganoon yung naging reaksiyon nila,” he said. He reiterated how close they are to the point that they are so familiar with each other.
Then, reporters joked to Ion that perhaps the teasing about him and Vice is half-meant, he answered with a laugh, “malay natin.” Kuya Escort also said that their sweetness in the Kapamilya noontime show is just part of “biru-biruan“.
When asked if how much he loves the unkabogable star, Ion Perez said that he loves him as a friend. He also reassured the reporters that he is not just denying it for the sake of keeping the truth.
