Still Unidentified Persons Shot Barangay Kagawad, Priest in San Pablo, Laguna
BARANGAY KAGAWAD – A kagawad in Brgy. Concepcion in San Pablo City, Laguna and a priest were shot by still unidentified suspects.
Every day, a lot of heartbreaking incidents are happening in the different parts of the Philippines. These incidents seem to show that some people do not fear about being responsible over the death of another person – a truly alarming and sad fact.
Recently, two(2) people fell as victims of incidents like it. The unfortunate event happened in San Pablo City in Laguna.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, a barangay kagawad and a priest were shot in San Pablo City, Laguna. They suspects were aboard a motorcycle when the incident took place.
The barangay official was identified as Richard Galit, 36 years old. The victim is serving Barangay Concepcion in the same city. The priest was identified as Fr. Emil Larano.
Based on the report, the victims were aboard an SUV when the suspects lodged their motive. The vehicle stopped in an intersection in Brgy. IV-A where the incident event took place.
Galit unfortunately did not survive the incident. He was rushed to the hospital but he died. Fr. Emil is currently recovering after obtaining a wound in his left arm.
Currently, the police authorities are still investigating the incident. We will keep you posted for updates.
