Man Chained By His Own Father Manages To Escape

MAN – A man traveled to Ilocos Sur to escape from his father in Abra who allegedly tied chains around his belly.

Most parents want the best for their children. They sent them to school, shelter and teach them on how to become successful someday.

Sadly, there are also some parents who mistreat their children. They could not bear becoming a parent and raise a child. They give up and let their child unguided.

That’s probably one of the reasons why there are lots of people who had the capacity to harm other people. Some bullies or criminals care less about other people’s feelings. We can all hope these abused kids grow up and choose the right direction.

Recently, a young man claimed that he escaped from the alleged mistreatment from his father in Abra. He traveled very far just to be away from him.

Based on a report from GMA News, an unnamed man escaped from their house in Abra before he was found in Ilocos Sur. He was discovered by the residents at the bus terminal.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Bantay, Ilocos Sur, took video footage of the man while pulling his ‘belly chains.’ They said the man asked for their help to remove the chains from his belly.

According to the report, MDRRMC workers used a bolt cutter to cut the chain that weighs around 1 kilogram from the man’s body. The residents said they are not familiar with the man.

He said he rode a bus going to Ilocos Sur after he escaped from being tied up done by his own father. The rusty chains left dark marks on his belly.

Based on the report, the MDRRMC and the police said they found no signs that the man has a mental illness. They freed and let him find other relatives.
