Vice Ganda Defends Moira Dela Torre Against Bashers
VICE GANDA – Kapamilya host Vice Ganda has spoken up about the negative comments her fellow judge on ‘Idol PH’ Moira Dela Torre has been receiving.
Filipino actor, standup comedian, and tv host, Vice Ganda is one of the most popular stars in the Philippines today. He’s hosting the Kapamilya noontime variety shoe ‘Its Showtime‘ alongside Anne Curtis, Jhong Hilario, and Amy Perez.
The comedian is also among the judges of the reality tv competition, Idol Philippines. His co-judges are Regine Velasquez, Moira Dela Torre, and James Reid.
Lots of Filipino viewers commented on Moira Dela Torre’s way of speaking on the show. They also criticized her way of speaking like she’s allegedly doing “inarte” during the audition for Idol Philippines.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, Phenomenal star Vice Ganda explained why Moira has a very low energy level on their show during his ‘Gandang Gabi Vice’ program last Sunday.
According to the report, Vice Ganda shared that he and his co-judges James, Regine, and Moira were just laughing while watching the scene where Moira is showing a very low energy level on the show. However, he felt bad when he hears criticisms against the singer.
“Kami ‘pag napapanood namin ‘yan, natatawa kami, even Moira tinatawanan din ‘yan. Pero I really felt so bad during the time na bina-bash si Moira because of her energy,” said Vice.
Based on the report, Vice Ganda revealed that his fellow judge Moira Dela Torre has a health condition involving her nose.
“Alam niyo ho ba during that time na binabash niyo si Moira dahil wala siyang energy at mahina ang boses niya, si Moira po ay may pinagdadaanan sa kalusugan dahil mayroong hindi magandang nangyari sa ilong ni Moira… at during the time na nagte-tape kami ng ‘Idol Philippines’ ang taas nung dosage ng drugs na tini-take ni Moira para hindi niya maramdaman ‘yung sakit na nararamdaman niya.”
“Ganun kataas ‘yung level ng pain na nararamdaman ni Moira habang nagte-taping kami na kusang tumutulo ang luha niya at kailangan siya painumin ng maraming gamot para ma relieve ‘yung pain at kumalma siya. Kaya ganon ang energy niya.”
“Pero pinagtatawanan at binash niyo siya ng hindi niyo alam na may nangyayaring hindi maganda sa kalusugan ni Moira. How dare you,” he added.
