Class Suspension Declared In These Areas on Friday (August 9, 2019)
CLASS SUSPENSION – The local government units have declared the suspension of classes in several areas due to the effects of Typhoon Hanna.
Typhoon Hanna brought an inclement weather condition with heavy rains and strong winds in different areas in the Philippines throughout the week.
The tropical cyclone enhanced the southwest monsoon or locally known as Habagat that causes floods in several areas.
The combined effects of Typhoon Hanna and Habagat prompted some schools to suspend the classes over the past few days.
On Friday (August 9, 2019), several local government units have declared the cancellation of classes due to the effect of Typhoon Hanna.
The class suspensions have been done to ensure the safety of Filipino students from any possible danger.
