Class Suspension Declared In These Areas on Thursday (August 8)
WALANG PASOK – Several local government units have declared Class suspension in different areas as Typhoon Hanna continues to intensify.
Throughout this week, Typhoon Hanna continues to bring an inclement weather condition over some parts of the country.
The weather disturbance is also enhancing the southwest monsoon that lashes the country with heavy rains and strong winds.
The combined effects of Typhoon Hanna and Habagat prompted both private and public schools in different areas to suspend the classes.
On Thursday (August 8, 2019), the local government units in several areas have declared the cancellation of classes due to the effects of Typhoon.
The class cancellations have been done to ensure the safety of the students from the possible danger brought by the effects of Hanna.

- Tanauan, Batangas
- Bataan province
- Paluan, Occidental Mindoro
- Floridablanca, Pampanga
- Ferrol, Romblon
- Masinloc, Zambales
Preschool to Senior High School
- Iloilo City
