Toni Gonzaga Pays Tribute To GMA Noontime Show Eat Bulaga
TONI GONZAGA – Singer, actress and host Toni Gonzaga paid tribute to Eat Bulaga for its 40th anniversary.
The Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga is one of the prominent hosts from the Kapamilya network. She has a sone with the director Paul Soriano named Seve.
Her biggest break in the show business was in a Sprite commercial with Piolo Pascual. Toni then became one of the hosts of GMA-7 noontime variety show Eat Bulaga. She then transferred to ABS-CBN network after a couple of years.
In a previous article, Toni Gonzaga received a gift from the longest-running noontime show in the Philippines which she acknowledges and expressed her gratitude.
The productions and staff of Eat Bulaga remembered the host and sent her flowers consisting of sunflowers, lilies, roses, and more.
Recently, Toni Gonzaga paid tribute to Eat Bulaga for its 40th anniversary. She’s among the Kapuso host-turned-Kapamilyas. These celebrities are interviewed for the program’s “Kwentong Eat Bulaga!” series.
On the video, Gonzaga recalled that she was only 17-years-old when she was asked to become one of the hosts in 2002.
“Tuwang-tuwa ako, grabe, yun yung pinakamasaya kong araw kasi hindi talaga ako makapaniwala,” she said.
Toni Gonzaga pointed out that even though she’s not working in GMA-7 anymore, she won’t forget her experiences in that noontime show.
“Hindi ko naman nakalimutan ang Eat Bulaga! Parang kahit saan ako pumunta, hanggang ngayon nga, iniisip ko pa rin, parang kahapon lang ako part ng Eat Bulaga…”
“Parang kung ano yung natutunan ko sa Eat Bulaga!, bitbit ko yun, hawak ko yun,” she added.
