The Philippines, just like many other countries, also has its own stories and some of it remain unsolved until now. Some of these stories happened a long time ago which the new generation might have never known yet.

  • LUCILA LALU – The story of her disturbing ending started when reports about a pair of leg which was divided in four was found in a garbage pile on May 28, 1967. The next day, her legless and headless body was discovered in a vacant lot. And to identify the person, a fingerprint was of helped and matched that of Lucila Lalu’s through a police clearance record. A couple of her lovers were accused but a dental student came in and admitted the crime but later on denied strongly insisting he did not do it. At the time of the discovery of her body, she was one month pregnant. Up until this date, there was no clear detail about the one who did the gruesome thing and her head has never been discovered.
  • CHIONG SISTERS – The sensational story of the Chiong Sisters remain unsolved. This happened in 1997 when their discovery after mysterious disappearance shocked Cebu. Couple of days after being missing, a body identified to be of Marijoy’s was found out to be abused for numerous times and thrown in a cliff alive. Hemorrhage caused the death. Meanwhile, Jacqueline’s body was not recovered. Until now, people were still confused about this particular case.
  • NIDA BLANCA – The body of the Filipina actress was found in November 2001, with 13 stab wounds and badly beaten, at the back seat of her car in a parking lot. Rod Strunk, her husband was accused because there were reports that he got disinherited from her last will which accordingly stated that all her properties will go to her daughter. Until a certain Philip Medel surfaced and admitted it confessing he was hired by Strunk. In 2007, her husband jumped from a second-floor balcony of the Tracy Inn and Medel was detained until his end at age 62 in 2010. The case is still pending.
  • THE VIZCONDEs – This among the most sensational and scariest event that ever happened in Philippine history. The victims were Estrellita, Carmela, and Jennifer. The patriarch of the family was on a business trip when this dark event happened. The suspect was Hubert Webb who in 2010, after a lengthy trial got acquitted.
