How true is it that Noli de Castro and Ted Failon were the reasons why Kris Aquino is not a Kapamilya now?
Speculations surfaced that journalists Noli de Castro and Ted Failon were comnected to the issue why Kris Aquino isn’t a Kapamilya now.
The Queen of all Media worked under the ABS-CBN network for 20 years. She did various talk shows and TV series, as well as movies under Star Cinema.
However, time came that she was no longer part of the Kapamilya network.
In a previous report, she admitted that it was her fault because she did not sign the two-year contract that was offered to her.
Then, speculations also surfaced saying that she will transfer to the Kapuso network. On the hand, Kris said, “GMA didn’t want me, and i cannot blame them- bakit naman nila bibigyan ang sarili nila ng sakit ng ulo eh maganda naman ang profit margins nila?”
Until now, the social media influencer has no home network. In line with this, entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin asked in her article for Bandera if Noli de Castro and Ted Failon have something to do with Kris’ exclusion from ABS-CBN.
She said that among showbiz reporters, these questions rose: “Alin ang mas mabigat na problema ngayon, ‘yung kay Kris o ang sa ABS-CBN? Ano nga kaya ang naiisip ni Kris ngayong nasa gitna ng indulto ang prangkisa ng network na sumipa sa kanya?”
As many people know, the Kapamilya network is facing the issue about renewal of its franchise since President Rodrigo Dutere stated that he is against the media company.
Based on a previous report, there were allegations that ABS-CBN already tried to renew its franchise back in the time when the President was still Noynoy Aquino.
However, reportedly, the former President declined the request because Noli and Ted were fervent attackers of his cabinet members.
With regards to this, Fermin, along with her companions in the entertainment press were asking if that was the factor that triggered Kris Aquino’s disappearance from the Kapamilya network.
