MICHAEL JACKSON – Here is the reason why Michael Jackson fans are suing the alleged abuse victims in France.
King of Pop Michael Jackson died in 2009 at the age of 50 due to a drug overdose of anesthetic propofol while under Conrad Murray’s care.
Millions of his fans all over the mourned over his death. His songs were admired because of the meaningful message to the people especially the young.
In a previous article, two men revealed disturbing allegations against Michael Jackson. James Safechuck, 41, and Wade Robson, 36, claimed that they were abused by the singer while they were young.
Several radio stations stopped playing the songs of the King of Pop since the US channel HBO broadcast the four-hour documentary “Leaving Neverland” in March.
After the banning, the songs of the legendary singer soared in the UK and was played in all their radio stations.
Despite the malicious claims, fans of Michael Jackson tried to protect his name even if he’s already gone.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, the fans club of the singer in Orleans, France are set to sue Safechuck and Robson in a French court over their claims in the controversial documentary.
The hearing of the case will take place at the northern city of Orleans on Thursday.
According to the report, MJ Street, Michael Jackson Community and On The Line groups will lead the proceedings against the alleged child abuse victims of the late singer.
They accuse James Safechuck and Wade Robson of sullying the image of their idol.
Based on the report, Atty. Emmanuel Ludot will be the lawyer of the groups. The said the two personalities’ allegations were “extremely serious” and “genuine lynching” of the singer.
Sullying the image of a deceased person is a criminal offense in French law, unlike America or Britain who does not offer this protection.
