MEN FACTS – Here are some facts about these men that we probably don’t know yet about the common things they accordingly lie about.
Everyone – at one point – have already bent some truths – no matter what the gender, men or women. But on one specific gender, the males, here are some lies they accordingly make about themselves.
See below:
- Height – According to journal Personality and Social Psychology, men from online dating lie about their height. They say a little taller than their actual height.
- Feelings – They are men and they are expected to be strong. No matter how much they are struggling, they will say nothing is wrong. From not wanting to bother their partner or anyone and not wanting to have an argument and any conflict.
- “Performance” – Men who suffer erectile dysfunction will never admit they are suffering one.
- Mistakes – “They don’t want to disappoint you,” says clinical psychologist David J. Ley, PhD. Men do not want to be rejected because of their mistakes, thus, covering it up.
- Fantasies – They won’t confess it because they don’t want to leave their partner angry or hurt.
- Mental State – Men who are depressed will convince themselves that they are okay. They may be angry or aggressive when depressed.
- Past Relationships – Why do they lie about this matter? Because they do not want to mess a new potential love. However, lying is the most common reasons why trust gets broken.
- Anger – Fear of judgment, cause of conflict, and that thought it might not be that big deal enough and will eventually pass are the reasons why they lie about being angry.
- When They Need You – “This is the most ludicrous lie of them all because we all need somebody—we’re social creatures that crave connection above almost everything else,” says Tor Constantino for The Good Men Project.
- Income – Lying about this can cause long-term problems.
