2. His first declaration of independence was inside a cave

According to an article in Filipiknow, the tearing of cedulas in the Cry of Balintawak was the most memorable event that sparked the revolution. However, more than a year ago, Bonifacio already made his first declaration inside Pamitinan Cave in Montalban, Morong (now Rodriguez, Rizal)

While many imagined Bonifacio fight carrying a bolo, he actually spent most of his lifetime using a revolver to fight. This was proven during the Battle of San Juan and his attempt to kill Daniel Tirona at the Tejeros Convention, as he was mentioned carrying a firearm.
