PAGASA Expects 2 to 3 Tropical Cyclones Expected This July

The state weather bureau PAGASA said that there are two to three tropical cyclones are expected to enter the Philippines this month of July.

On Monday (July 1, 2019), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released its weather forecast for this month.

PAGASA is expecting two to three tropical cyclones to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The possible cyclones might hit Southern Luzon and Northern Luzon or veer to the east, according to the weather agency.

The succeeding weather disturbances will be given the local names Falcon, Goring, Hanna, Ineng, Jenny and Kabayan.

Usually, approximately twenty (20) tropical cyclones enter the Philippine territory every year.

Among the cyclones, around ten (10) will be typhoons, with five having the potential to be destructive ones.
