Malacañang Palace Declares June 20-21 As Special Holidays In These Areas
The Malacañang Palace declared June 20-21, 2019 as special holidays in different cities and municipalities in the Philippines.
President Rodrigo Duterte authorized Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea to sign various proclamations declaring June 20 (Thursday) and 21 (Friday), 2019 as special non-working holidays.
The proclamations allow the people to have the full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
- Proclamation No. 742 – Declares June 20 as a special non-working holiday in Lipa City, Batangas to celebrate its 72nd Founding anniversary.
- Proclamation No. 743 – Declares June 20 as a special non-working holiday in Dagupan City, Pangasinan to celebrate its 72nd Charter anniversary.
- Proclamation No. 744 – Declares June 21 as a special non-working holiday in Zamboanga Del Sur to mark the celebration of its 50th Charter anniversary on June 22.
- Proclamation No. 745 – Declares June 21 as a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Balete, Batangas to celebrate its Founding anniversary.
- Proclamation No. 746 – Declares June 21 as a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Rosario, Agusan del Sur to celebrate the Yagi-Yagi Festival of Native Cultural Heritage.
- Proclamation No. 747 – Declares June 21 as a special non-working holiday in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur to celebrate its 12th Charter anniversary.
- Proclamation No. 748 – Declares June 21 as a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Maasim, Sarangani to celebrate its Founding anniversary and Kastebeng Festival.
- Proclamation No. 749 – Declares June 21 as a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Laurel, Batangas to celebrate its 50th founding anniversary.
