In a previous article, it has been reported that the actress and beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez, as shared by her mother Annabelle Rama, has cried upon receiving a wedding invitation from her ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas, who wished to have their daughters – Lorin and Venice – attend his wedding.
“Bakit ka umiiyak? Gusto mong bumalik sa kanya para bugbugin ka naman? Hayaan mo na siya, meron ka na rin naming boyfriend na PG,” Annabelle accordingly said to her daughter.
As per GMA’s report in 2007, she revealed that she is a battered wife who suffered electrocution and 15 hours of torture. While Bektas, in defense, said that their marriage was null and void or she is accordingly married to a certain Ricard Daloia.
Moreover, with all these issues, the Turkish businessman apologized her and to her mother indicating, “I am sorry to you and mother Annabelle. Hope one day you will forgive me. I know how difficult. Never I didn’t want to be disrespect, never I am thinking will gonna happened like this, what I did until today. It was just I try getting my family back.”
And now, in an Instagram post, someone asked Ruffa, “Wala na po bang pag-asa nag magkabalikan kayo? Hindi niyo na po ba siya mahal? Fan na fan pa naman po ako ng love team ninyong dalawa.”
To which Ruffa replied that as long as they are living, there is hope. Shocked, Sarah Lahbati reacted “OMG”.
Gutierrez and Bektas tied the knot in Manila in 2003 but four years later, they announced their separation. Their wedding got annulled in 2012.
