Peter Advincula alyas “Bikoy” Faced with Estafa Case
PETER ADVINCULA – The estafa case against Peter Joemel Advincula alyas “Bikoy” was submitted for Court resolution.
Previously, a man named Peter Joemel Advincula appeared and claimed that he is “Bikoy”, the man in viral videos that link some of the family members of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to drugs.
After a while, he altered his claims. Bikoy claimed that Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and the Liberal Party are behind his initial move. The LP denied his allegations.
Apart from the controversy that he is in, Bikoy is also faced with an estafa case.
Businessman Arven Valmores filed an estafa case against Peter Joemel Advincula for allegedly using the name of his company in the beauty pageant in Albay in 2018.
According to the president and CEO of Ardeur World Marketing, the name of his company and its logo was used without his permission.
Previously, a court hearing regarding the case against Advincula was set but he did not appear at the event.
A few days after it, the police announced that Bikoy is under their protective custody. The police also said that they are investigating his claims and his pieces of evidence.
Recently, an update regarding the estafa case against Bikoy crossed the surface.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Atty. Benjamin delos Santos, the lawyer of Arven Valmores, the case has already been submitted for resolution.
Reportedly, the complainant has presented Danrick Capuz, the alleged production director of the pageant.
Capuz submitted a sworn statement containing his claims that Advincula asked him to recruit staff while he was on with the sponsorship solicitations and the sale of the materials.
According to Capuz, Advincula did not show up and could not anymore be reached.
