Latest Weather Updates in PH Released by PAGASA

State weather bureau PAGASA released the latest weather updates in the Philippines for Friday (May 31, 2019).

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the current weather condition.

PAGASA said that the frontal system and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) would affect the weather condition over some parts of the Philippines.

The frontal system would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Apayao, Batanes, Cagayan including the Babuyan Group of Islands.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Palawan, and Mindoro provinces.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, La Union, Pangasinan, and Aurora.

The weather agency also warned the public of possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the entire archipelago would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
